Natasha and Chris married at Devonshire Terrace, Liverpool street, London. I was delighted to film there as the venue is just around the corner from my flat. The wedding took place in the atrium of the venue. It is so large it is half indoors, half outdoors. I absolutely loved this. It meant the light was perfect all day for getting those Instagram worthy bangers. Having everything all in one place was great as it gave more time for mingling and people to catch up.
The wedding itself was an intimate affair. There were a couple of lovely readings from friends and family which gave me something to work with during the edit. I would always recommend couples choose a couple of nice readings, as these can help shape a wedding film greatly.
According to Natasha, the blushed pink lining of the wedding dress set the colour inspiration for the whole event. The venue looked great with lanterns and fairy light adorning. Natasha said she “Loved every second, took my time over a year but really enjoyed planning our special day”
It was great to duck out and grab some portraits with the photographer Emma Hare, fellow London Wedding Breakfast Club member. Emma took the happy couple out onto the streets and we grabbed some striking shots at the foot of the nearby skyscrapers. I don’t normally set up shots, but if the photographer is taking a couple out I will gladly document the time.
I really enjoyed filming my first wedding at Devonshire Terrace. With it being so close, the light so great and the staff so friendly, I look forward to shooting there again. This is the highlight film I put together from the day;
