This is the story of what happened when an Irish and Columbian got married at Farm Street Church / Raven’s Ait.
Irish + Columbian = Party
I shot this video on a perfect day back in July. The bride Angela was from Columbia and the groom Garret was from Ireland. This made for an exciting and heartfelt wedding. I’m not sure who partied harder, the Irish or the Columbians! The combination also made for some really heartfelt speeches.
The ceremony took place at Farmstreet Church, which is a beautiful old Roman Catholic church. It was likely the priests final wedding ceremony he did at the church and his reaction later on in the video was priceless.
The reception took place at Raven’s Ait, a stunning island along the Thames. We took buses to get everyone there and boats to get to the island which was great fun. There were tonnes of activities including skittles and a Polaroid camera for everyone to leave notes with. There’s was plenty dancing later into the night led by traditional Columbian dancers!
I was made to feel incredibly welcome and therefore captured some great moments. This is my extended highlights video of the day.
